Do you provide catering or can I bring in my own?You have the opportunity to hand-select the caterer that fits your style and budget. We have a list of approved caterers from which you may choose. These caterers have catered here often and have demonstrated that they are committed to creating a memorable day for our brides. Should the nature of your event require a type of food and beverage service that cannot be provided by our caterers, you may request an exception to bring in a different caterer.How long is the Mansion rental?The rental period is for nine hours which includes two hours for set up, a six hour reception and one hour for clean up. We only host one event per day, so you can choose the hours that you would like to have the Mansion available.Is the Mansion available for Bridal Showers or Rehearsal Dinners?Absolutely. The Mansion is also available for other types of events including anniversary parties, Bar Mitzvahs, baby showers, meetings and conferences. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.Can the Mansion grounds be tented?Yes, up one hundred and fifty guests can be accommodated in a tent on one of two sites. |
Can the Mansion host wedding ceremonies?Ceremonies can be held on the property. The most popular places are the Conservatory, the Gazebo, and the Grape Arbor. There is no extra fee for having youe ceremony at the Mansion.Is there someone from the Mansion available to help me plan my event?Our staff is happy to help you along the way; we have hosted a myriad of weddings and know what works and what doesn't. A staff person is here during your wedding to take care of the building and assist you and your vendors. A beautiful mansion, the freedom to choose all your vendors and design your own wedding, will make your special day personalized and memorable.Are you able to recommend wedding service providers such as caterers, florists, photographers etc?Absolutely! In fact at the back of this brochure you will find several vendors who have worked with us before and are familiar with the Mansion. Feel free to speak with each of them to determine who will best meet your vision. |
Is the building air-conditioned?Tarrywile Mansion is fully air-conditioned. The first floor is also fully accessible to people with disabilities, has a full service commercial kitchen and there is ample parking.How is liquor service handled?Liquor liability insurance is required to serve liquor and can be provided by your carrier or ask our staff for alternative sources.What is included in the rental fee?We provide tables and chairs for use throughout the Mansion and Veranda.
