TarrywilePark was very busy during the summer and fall of 2009.We held a very successful StoryWalk program which culminated with a new troll taking up residence in the Children’s Garden just in time to coincide with the book “Trouble with Trolls”.Many thanks to Northeast Utilities for their generous donation that made the StoryWalk possible and also to the students and faculty of Escape to the Arts for their creation of new furniture for our troll house.Check it out next time you are in the Park.And check back on our website this summer for another series of StoryWalks.
We also held a successful first year program for preschoolers and kindergarten children with a hayride and hay maze.We will continue this program in the fall of 2010 to perhaps a bigger audience.
