Park Rules & Hours

Hours of Operation                    

Park - Open to the public year round, seven days a week from
              sunrise to sunset (weather permitting) at no charge.

Office - Located in Tarrywile Mansion, open
                8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
 
 

Park Rules & Regulations

  • Danbury City Ordinance - Section 12.3, mandates and requires that dogs must be on leash at all times and by Connecticut State Statue Sec. 22-364, be under the control of their owner or keeper.
  • Permits Required for Camping and Camp Fires.
  • Connecticut Fishing Liscense is required for fishing.  They may be purchased at the Town Clerks Office at Danbury City Hall.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Motorized vehicles
  • Alcohol or drugs
  • Swimming
  • Loud Music
  • Boisterous Behavior
  • Hunting
  • Littering
  • Motorboats
