Candy Cane Hunt Success

We had a great day at Tarrywile Park & Mansion last Saturday as close to 70 children, accompanied by their parents attended our Candy Cane Hunt fundraiser. The weather cooperated with a clear sky so we did not have to hide the candy canes in the snow. The children and parents didn’t have to worry about snow boots or muddy shoes as they trekked through the grounds in search of the hidden sweets.

The house was decorated for the holiday season, age appropriate holiday crafts were available for the children as well and hot cocoa and cookies.

Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus Help Out

Mr. & Mrs. Claus were on hand to greet the children and encourage them in their crafts. They walked around the mansion talking with the children then spent some time listening to their wish list and taking photos. We really appreciate all of our volunteers and sponsors who helped make this day such a success.
