I’d like to send out congratulations to Brandy and Frank, our latest couple to be married at Tarrywile Mansion. The weather was forecast to be partial cloudy for the week with a chance of showers on Saturday, the good news was the heat wave had broken so the temperature was predicted to be a lovely 84 degrees. The weather on any wedding day is always a worry, for Brandy and Frank it was more of a concern since their plan was to have the reception indoors and the dancing outside under a tent.
The tent was set up on Friday with lights strung around the edges and the dance floor was placed underneath. The set up was really sweet but I didn’t realize how sweet until I saw photo’s taken by Magnanimous Pictures capturing a few tables set up around the dance floor with music ready to go, hence the reason for the intense weather watch.
As it turned out the rain held off until just after 5 pm which was ceremony time, but from the looks of the photo’s the ceremony proceeded as scheduled. The report I had from my house supervisor was that the dancing started inside when the rain began to fall but as soon as it cleared everyone moved outside under the lighted tent and enjoyed the rest of their evening.
It’s wonderful hearing about the details and seeing the weddings through the photographer’s eye. This gives our new brides the opportunity to put themselves into the photo’s to get a better visual of what their wedding at Tarrywile could be. Thank you Magnanimous Pictures for allowing us access to your wonderful work. The music was provided by Sounds Unlimited and DJ Joe Lockery, Catering was from one of our preferred caterers; Ciao’ Two Steps Catering and the rentals were from All Season Party Rentals.
