Katie & Joshua

Katie and Joshua’s winter wedding took place inside Tarrywile’s warm and inviting Victorian mansion.  With the grounds blanketed in fresh snow, Katie and Joshua were married on the grand staircase inside the mansion. Family and friends gathered in the main hall to watch the young couple become husband and wife.

The Disney movie, “Up” was the theme for the reception and guests were delighted at the rainbow of balloons floating above the bar in the mansion’s conservatory.

Tarrywile makes for a picture postcard worthy wedding venue with the snow lying so softly on the ground, the white not yet disturbed but still in it’s pristine state.

The vendors chose for Katie & Joshua’s day were; WestWind Catering Company and Sam Burkardt Photography

Katie prepared for her wedding in the bright, airy second floor brides room. The large windows and numerous mirrors provide this room with plenty of light for make up artists and hairstylists. The brides room can accommodate large bridal parties as it has ample counter space and seating.  A lovely room to enjoy while getting ready with your ladies.

Katie and Joshua’s first look took place in the second floor sun porch surrounded by glistening snow and sunshine. The sun porch is a favorite spot for indoor photographs due to the large, antique windows.

The couple exchanged vows on the grand staircase.  For couples who prefer an indoor ceremony, the mansion has a variety of exquisite rooms to choose from.

Guests filled the main hall to witness the coming together of Katie and Joshua.  The main hall can also be used as a dance floor or a location for buffet or cocktail hour.
