A Valentines Day Story Contest
Marriage proposals have become more and more elaborate in these days of social media and its access to large scale audiences. Here, at Tarrywile Park & Mansion we want to hear about your marriage proposal. It can be elaborate or simple, humorous or one that pulls on our heartstrings, we want to read them all.
Enter your photos and stories in the Tarrywile Mansion “A Unique Proposal” contest. After all the entries are received at the end of the entry period (February 3rd – February 21st), we will open up the contest for voting between Feb. 22 – Feb 29. A link to the voting form will be provided on February 24. The prize for the story with the most votes is a 20% discount off of a 9-hour Mansion rental for your wedding day; a $100 gift certificate for any rental from All Season Tent and Party Rentals; one free trial make up session for the Bride only, with the booking of a wedding day make up session with Makeup by Candee Caldwell, a $250 gift certificate from PictureThis CT towards any of their two photographer packages, $200 gift certificate off the rental of a photo booth from Spin Doctor Entertainment; can not be combined with any other offers or special promotion.
To Enter:
- Email your story, include a photo if you have it, to Tarrywile.events@gmail.com, with “A Unique Proposal” in the subject line OR include the photo in a comment on this Facebook page about the contest. Contest entry period is from February 3, 2020 through February 21, 2020 at 10 pm.
- Contest voting period February 22 at 12 a.m. through February 29 at 10 p.m.
- Get your friends, family and coworkers to vote for your entry by VOTING HERE.
- Limit 1 entry per subscriber. Keep photos clean and family-appropriate please! Editor reserves the right to withhold photos from the contest if deemed inappropriate.
- Only 1 vote per person or email address.
- The winner will be notified by email and then announced on our Facebook page on March 5th at 2:00 pm, so stay tuned in to see if you end up with some extra cash to spend on your honeymoon!
*Must be age 18 or older to enter. Prize is non-transferable, your wedding day must be scheduled to occur on or before June 30th, 2021. Rental dates do not include government holidays, or dates that are already booked. Discount applies to new bookings only. TPA 20% discount does not apply to security deposit. By submitting your photo and story, you agree that you own the rights to your photo and story, and are giving permission for Tarrywile Park Authority to post your photo on Facebook and to use the image on our website and other social media channels for the purpose of this contest. After the entry period, photos will be posted to an album on our Facebook Page and Tarrwyile Park & Mansion website with a link to an official voting form to vote. The one photo with the most votes during the voting time period will WIN a 20% discount on a 9-hour Mansion Rental, a $100 gift certificate for any rental from All Season Tent & Party Rentals, 1 free makeup trial for the BRIDE only with the booking of a wedding day makeup session with Makeup by Candee Caldwell, a $250 gift certificate from PictureThis CT towards one of their two photographer packages; Follow Your Heart, Dreams, To Have and To Hold or Once in a Lifetime packages, and can not be combined with any other offers, $200 gift certificate off the rental of a photo booth from Spin Doctor Entertainment; can not be combined with any other offers or special promotion
