We chose Tarrywile Mansion for our wedding because we were eager to find a venue in the Danbury area. Interestingly, our journey began with hiking the beautiful trails in the park, which led us to discover the stunning mansion. After learning that Tarrywile is a municipally owned park, we felt even more motivated to support such a cherished community resource, especially considering the significant portion of our wedding budget that would go toward the venue.
From the moment we spoke with Loraine and toured the space, we knew Tarrywile was the perfect match for our vision. We wanted our wedding to feel like a casually elegant dinner party, and the mansion captured that essence seamlessly. Having already explored the property, we were confident that the fall scenery would provide a breathtaking backdrop for our celebration, especially for our out-of-town guests.
We wholeheartedly recommend Tarrywile Mansion to friends and family! Many of our guests praised its beauty and timeless atmosphere.
Our experience with Tarrywile was so wonderful that we would absolutely consider working with them again in the future. The day went off without a hitch, thanks to the incredible support from everyone involved—especially Loraine and the parking attendant.
What surprised us the most was how effortlessly the day unfolded. When selecting a caterer, we leaned on Loraine’s expertise, and she recommended Chris Angione and Carriage House Catering. Initially, we were skeptical about her assurance that all we needed to do was show up on our wedding day. However, it turned out to be completely true! We dropped off our decor with detailed instructions the day before, and when we arrived on our wedding day, everything was perfectly in place.
