Easter Egg Hunt Success

Last Saturday the Tarrywile Mansion grounds were littered with thousands of brightly colored plastic Easter eggs ready and waiting for the 100+ children who signed up for the 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Macaroni Kids Danbury. There might have been a bit of snow on the ground but that didn’t stop the children ranging in ages 0 – 12 from avidly searching out every last candy filled Easter egg to fill their baskets. Thank you to the ever resourceful Meghan Friedland and Macaroni Kids for organizing, advertising, supplying the crafts and hosting this fun fulled event, held as a fundraiser to support Tarrywile Park. Thank you also for the contributing businesses; Brian Diaz Photography who graciously offered his services for pictures with the Easter Bunny and Wooster School in Danbury who supplied light refreshments.

After the event Meghan stated; “The Easter Egg Hunt went really well! Families loved the event–many coming to me at the end thanking me and sharing how much fun they had. They feel it’s “the best hunt in the area!””.
