3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser

Our 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt was another resounding success thanks to Meghan Friedland of Macaroni Kids Danbury-Bethel-Ridgefield, and Bethel High Schools JROTC Program volunteers.  Gratitude also to the many sponsors and business partners who donated their time, goods or services in order to ensure that the kids and their families had a positive, fun experience.

The Tarrywile Park Authority and it’s staff couldn’t maintain the beautiful park you all know and love without dedicated partners in fundraising like Meghan Friedland and Macaroni Kids Danbury-Bethel-Ridgefield online family fun resource.

Fundraiser Volunteers, Sponsors, Partners

This year we were blessed with a beautiful day, unlike last year where the Easter Bunny had the challenge of hiding colorful eggs amidst pristine white snow. We’d like to send a shout out to the volunteers from the NJROTC program; one of the mom’s came in to the Mansion office to pick up her raffle winning basket and commented that she was; ” impressed with the volunteers this year, they were well mannered, attentive and interacted with the kids on a one to one basis that made them feel special.” That say’s quite a bit about the young men and women in this program, whatever it is you all are doing, keep it up!

Two Egg Hunt Sessions

The egg hunt has grown in popularity so this year Meghan added a second session to accommodate the expanding list of children who wanted to attend. The sessions were not only split into two time frames but by age group as well, so there was no fear of the little ones being overwhelmed by the older kids. The event was orchestrated perfectly and the Easter Bunny was a big hit!

Kids lined up on the veranda so they could take a selfie with the Easter Bunny or have their mom or dad take a photo for them. Inside the Mansion multiple rooms were set up for Easter themed crafts and a sweet treat before heading out in search of those brightly colored eggs.

We’d like to recognize all the partners and sponsors who made this year’s Egg Hunt Fundraiser a success.
