Weddings are continuing to happen all over Connecticut despite or is in in-spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we haven’t had the large weddings that were scheduled for this past year, we are celebrating with a few couples that are going the small, intimate gathering route. Let’s say congratulations and wish these couples many blessings as they journey together as man and wife.
On August 1, 2020, Catarina Rodrigues married Brian Cecilio in a small ceremony performed at the Gazebo. The couple was surrounded by 25 of their closest family and friends.

Brittany Sullivan and Irvin Portillo of Danbury, decided to have a quiet wedding ceremony on September 13th. They invited 20 guests as witnesses to their covenant of marriage. Congratulations to you both, we wish you much joy and happiness as you travel this new road together.
September Romance Continues
The email came in on Wednesday September 12;
“Hello, I know this Is short noticed, my fiancé and I wanted to perform a small wedding ceremony (less than 10 people due to Covid-19) on one of your outdoor area this coming Saturday (9.19.2020). The ceremony will be approximately 30 minutes long. We had to cancel our wedding venue due to Covid-19 restrictions. If it is possible to book it for the 19th, would mean the world to me. Thank you and have a wonderful day!”
I was pleased to say that yes, the gazebo and Mansion grounds are indeed available for their last minute request. Rong and Nancy chose the 1-hour time slot from 3 – 4 pm. The lovely couple were fortunate to have a beautiful late summer day for their impromptu ceremony. We wish them all the best!
Wedding Vows at Sunset
The next time slot on Saturday, September 19th was the two hour rental of the Gazebo for Luis and Mourg from White Plains, NY. Their ceremony took place as the lat summer sun was beginning to sink into the horizon.
