Chick – Fil – A’s annual Daddy Daughter Date Night proved to be a resounding success. When Nicole the general manager of the Danbury Fair Mall Chick – Fil – A restaurant approached me about hosting their annual Daddy Daughter Date Night at Tarrywile Mansion I was excited about being able to partner with Nicole and her crew to host such a sweet event. The event was usually held at the Mall but this year Nicole was looking to make the event a little more intimate by changing the venue to Tarrywile Mansion.

Respect, Courtesy, Kindness

The evening gave Dad’s and daughters a chance to dress up like they would on a real date, (way, way in the future like when they’re 40) when the daughter is of dating age, to serve as an example of what young girls should expect from the young men they are looking to date. It’s a great opportunity for Dads to serve as the example of what type of man his daughter should be looking for and what she should demand; respect, courtesy, kindness with a little romance thrown in.

The evening included the meal, a rose for each daughter, a chance to have their nails done, a DJ spinning some tunes to dance to and a brief limo ride around the block. The vendors involved were; Ultimate Limo and DJs John and Tony with CNT Entertainment as well as the staff of Chick – Fil – A.

It was wonderful being able to play a small part in this special evening, I hope this new tradition continues to next year. Thank you Nicole Keating and all your staff and volunteers for treating the Mansion with respect and kindness and allowing us to share in the fun!
