Holiday Wedding for Amanda & Andy

A Winter Wedding

Congratulations to Amanda & Andy who winter wedding ceremony at their local church in Berlin, CT this past Saturday then had their wedding reception here at Tarrywile for 90 of their closest family and friends. The happy couple was very fortunate to have picked a day where “Old Man Winter” decided to take a nap for their December wedding. The Mansion was dressed in her holiday finery and shined brightly with the addition of Amanda’s personal touches; books to represent Amanda being a children’s librarian and airplanes for Andy being an Aeronautical Engineer.

Holiday Head Table

Amanda & Andy chose to have their entire wedding party join them at their head table set up in the glass conservatory. The conservatory, adorned with tinkle light, looking out on the snowy grounds, had an almost fairy tale feel to it. That makes it perfect since our bride Amanda loves children’s books.

Vendors chosen for this event were; Gallucci’s Catering, Defining Studio’s Photography, DJ Kirk Michaels of Sound Investment, Sweet Rewards for the cake and Coach Tours, tasked with bringing the wedding guests safely from Berlin to Danbury and back.
