A Crazy, Busy, Exciting Weekend

We started with an annual wine tasting fundraiser on Thursday hosted by the Community Action Agency of Danbury and organized by the amazing Mary Korin. The CAA is responsible for quite a few needed services for the Danbury community and beyond. Check out the CAA website for a list of their services or instructions on how to get involved.

Friday Rehearsal Dinner

Friday saw the rehearsal dinner for Geri & Parker’s wedding the next day, taking advantage of our two day rental discount package. This was hosted by the groom’s parents and gave the wedding party plus a chance to relax, decorate and work out the last minute details for the wedding the next day. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. K. for choosing to start the weekend festivities with Tarrywile Mansion.

Saturday Wedding

Saturday saw the wedding celebration of Geri & Parker! Congratulations to you both and thank you Geri and Penny for choosing Tarrywile as the venue for your celebration weekend. I heard everyone had a great time, the church ceremony was beautiful, the weather cooperated, the music was lively and the food was delicious! You can read all about Geri & Parkers wedding day at; An Immaculate Alumni Wedding.

Baby Shower

The celebrations continued on Sunday but of a different nature; one of our Immaculate High School Alumni chose Tarrywile Mansion as the location for her first baby shower! How exciting to have our neighboring former students coming back to share their life’s big events! Thank you Donna for all the planning and attention to detail. Many blessings to the new parents and soon to be delivered little one!

Thank you to our park users who were respectful to our parking limitations this weekend. We appreciate your help in making our events run as smoothly as possible. Every event hosted at the Mansion helps to finance all the work and materials necessary to keep your park looking as beautiful as you have come to expect.
